All GHS students are welcome to train with cross country in summer as well as during any out-of-season conditioning we may oversee, regardless of participation during the season. Note that summer and out-of-season conditioning are not a requirement for participation during the season.

COME TO PRACTICE PREPARED
Please come to practice dressed with appropriate layers for running as well as pre and post run activities. Pants, tights or leggings are recommended for all running under 60°F. Good running shoes in decent condition are essential (please reach out if this may be a barrier to participation so we can help).
Please also bring a water bottle clearly marked with your name and filled with water or electrolyte drink for your hydration needs. A snack with protein and carbohydrate for immediately after practice is recommended for optimal recovery.
As a team we run by time and therefor a simple watch is helpful for knowing how long you are running. Please wear one to each practice if possible.
